It’s punk music you can dance to, or dance music that incites a riot. Either way, The Authors' relentless, shimmering pop had bodies moving upstairs at Lambert’s. Behind frontman Justin Prater’s grizzled growl and piercing guitar work, the 2010 newcomers had us believing this year might prove them to be a “Timebomb” in the making; a righteous fury hidden under some of the catchiest new riffs in town.
